Are Ferris Wheel rides available for half price?
No, I think they are only doing some work on the Ferris Wheel. This is the kind of thing you see in Ocean City, Maryland, during the off-season.
I believe we are in the December lull. I noticed yesterday that a number of restaurants have signs announcing, “Reopening Dec. 26.” Don’t worry, you won’t go hungry. Plenty of restaurants remain open. Hotels and grocery stores, too.
On the other hand, Christmas shopping is under way at the Outlet Stores, located at Route 50 and Golf Course Road, judging by the increased number of cars in the parking lot. – Bernie Hayden

I kind of like to see the “behind the scenes” of the boardwalk and the amusements. It makes it even more special when everything comes back to life in the warmer months.

Gosh – my favorite view of the boardwalk is the Ferris Wheel. I’d lived here 10 years and never noticed the maintenance of the ride – does that tell you something!
